sabino:

I just read a comment from a 2004 article by the NY Times about the loneliest whale in the world. Scientists have been tracking her since 1992 and they discovered the problem:

She isn’t like any other baleen whale. Unlike all whales, she doesn’t have friends. She doesn’t have a family. She…

this could definitely make someone so sad they jump off of a building

Pretty much the worst week ever.

concreteandsunflowers:

But at least tomorrow is friday.

I’m really sorry you had a lame week but I think I’ve been seeing you around campus and If I am recognizing you correctly you seem like a really awesome, charismatic, social and nice person! I always just think to myself is that my tumblr friend? I hope so because she seems so great! (:

I have so much rumbling around my head right now.

I’ve really taken interest in cruelty free, vegan, organic beauty products lately. It is so exciting! I picked up Lush’s Angels on Bare Skin facial cleanser and Tea Tree Water Toner and I swear I will never go back! Next on the list is my fascination with nutrition! I have been on a new diet and I’ve been trying to learn more about processed and synthetic foods. Bleached White Flour has been really prevalent in my research and I am  excited to start searching for alternative, more nutritional grains. (Besides the obvious Whole Wheat) I’ve really taken interest in taking better care of my body and it is truly invigorating. Its funny how empowering it is to take control of what touches your skin, the food you eat, and the physical condition your body is in. I cannot wait to finally get my copy of “Clean Start” by Terry Walters and to start experimenting with new recipes that benefit my body and the environment.

Next is the idea for an on campus club at Goucher. Oh yeah, I said it. I am actually going to get more involved on this campus. I want bring a group of people together that are passionate about animals, and animal’s rights. Whether that be to exchange vegan/veg recipes or talk about current issues pertaining to animal rights. Also I thought doing some volunteering at local shelters and adoption events would be awesome! So this summer I will spend some time getting to know some of the shelters in and around the Towson/ Downtown Baltimore area and figuring out how I can make this club work for next semester!

I feel awesome (:
